OREANDA-NEWS. May 23, 2012. On May 22 - 24 the 39th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) will be held, where about 70 delegates from 10 countries will take part.

To recap, the Parliamentary Assembly is comprised of 76 deputies representing 12 BSEC member countries.

On the first day of the session the meetings of the Bureau and the Standing Committee will be convened, and on the next two days the plenary sessions of the General Assembly.

The following issues are included in the agenda of the 39th plenary session: organizational, activity of the BSEC organization, the improvement of the tax system in the BSEC member countries, the perspectives of the development of viticulture and wine-making, the implementation of the agreements in the sphere of fighting against organized crime, cultural, educational and social problems and other issues. The PABSEC Statement will be issued on the 20th anniversary of the BSEC organization.

Before this two PABSEC plenary sessions were held: meetings of the Cultural, Educational and Social Affairs Committee and Economic, Commercial, Technological ad Environmental Affairs Committee.
