OREANDA-NEWS. May 23, 2012. NOMOS-BANK was declared Russia’s fastest-growing factor in 2011 by the rating agency Expert RA. Pavel Samiev, the Deputy CEO of Expert RA, awarded a special diploma to Sergei Kushpelev, Director of Factoring at NOMOS-BANK, at the 8th Factoring in Russia Conference, which was hosted by the Agency.

The award from Expert RA, which is the strongest rating agency in the CIS and Eastern Europe and a leading centre for analysis and communication, is testimony to the successful development by NOMOS-BANK of its factoring business, as well as the professionalism of its factoring team and the relevance and quality of its product range.

NOMOS-BANK was the leader among main Russian factoring players in 2011 by the rate of growth of its portfolio, which expanded by 349.7% to RUB 6.543 billion as of January 1, 2012. The Bank was also in first place by expansion of assigned claim volumes, which saw 265.5% growth.

The NOMOS factoring head, Sergei Kushpelev, said: “In 2011 we designed a product range to meet the needs of customers in any sphere of business. NOMOS-BANK is constantly working to improve service quality and to find new ways of meeting our customers’ needs. We have launched a customer module that makes it possible to obtain financing and information concerning all cash claims on-line. That progress, combined with the professionalism of our specialists, has ensured excellent results in our business. We intend further development of NOMOS-BANK’s factoring business in 2012, aiming to increase the share of our factoring portfolio on regional markets and to become one of the top three factors in Russia by business volumes.”

In his address to the Conference, Sergei Kushpelev described the results and attainments of NOMOS-BANK on the factoring market in 2011, as well as giving an account of the Bank’s principal factoring products and how they can be used in various sectors to achieve business growth.

NOMOS-BANK is developing factoring operations in 11 Russian regions where it has presence. The Bank set up factoring sales infrastructure at seven regional branches in 2011: Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Krasnodar, Tomsk, Kazan, Samara and Perm. Factoring infrastructure will be installed at another five regional branches in 2012: Omsk, Ufa, Saratov and Chelyabinsk.
