OREANDA-NEWS. May 25, 2012. In the conference hall of the VertolOtel in Rostov-on-Don, a Bank of Moscow press conference was held under the title "The Bank of Moscow development strategy in the Rostov Region. Official presentation of the new management of the Bank of Moscow Rostov-on-Don branch".

Miguel Markaryants, Director of the Retail Sales Department of the Bank of Moscow, and Maxim Kokorin, Vice-President and Director of the Corporate Sales Department of the Bank of Moscow took part in the press conference and the new head of the Bank of Moscow Rostov-on-Don branch, Anna Shtabnova, was presented.

According to the participants in the press conference, the key tasks of the Bank of Moscow as a member of the VTB Group for 2012 consist in achieving a high growth rate of credit operations and attracting resources, as well as introducing the latest Group practices in the sales sphere and increasing the efficiency of business processes within the network.

Maxim Kokorin, Vice-President and Director of the Corporate Sales Department of the Bank of Moscow, told how one of the priorities for the Bank of Moscow at the moment is to achieve active growth of business in the small and medium-sized business segment.

Speaking about regional policy, Miguel Markaryants noted that, among the key tasks, the Bank of Moscow is currently focusing on optimisation and development of the regional network, stage by stage during 2012 to 2014, its main result being substantial cost-cutting and significantly greater efficiency and quality of regional management. The Director of the Retail Sales Department of the Bank of Moscow also told how the Bank was now in the process of selecting priority regions and optimal forms of presence in each of these, in consideration of the individual specifics and nature of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

"The Rostov Region is one of the priority regions for the Bank of Moscow. The Rostov branch is among the Group’s pilot projects, where a new concept for the Bank’s development is to be introduced in accordance with the adopted strategy. Our goal is to occupy leading positions in the Rostov Region banking market and, for this purpose, we must, above all, provide quality services to our clients, raise the level of client orientation and recognisability of the Bank of Moscow", explained head of the Bank of Moscow Rostov branch Anna Shtabnova.

The Rostov branch of the Bank of Moscow opened in June 1998. The branch’s network includes a head office and 3 additional offices in Rostov-on-Don, offices in Azov and Taganrog, and there are 31 ATMs operating in the Region.
