OREANDA-NEWS. May 28, 2012. One of the largest showing in the Northwest – XIX international specialized exhibition “Energetika&electrotechnika” – has opened on May 23 in the “Lenexpo” and aroused the great interest of the Russian and foreign companies.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by Chairman of the Energy and Engineering Committee of the Government of St. Petersburg, Vladislav Petrov, Consul General of Germany in St. Petersburg, Benedikt Haller, Executive Director of “ExpoForum”, General Director of JSC “Lenexpo” Sergey Voronkov, General Director of JSC “VO “Restek” Igor Kirsanov, and other guests.

According to Benedict Haller, the exhibition is a great interest in Germany. “The theme of energy unites Russia and Germany for a long time, so it will continue” – he said. As noted the vice-president of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of St. Petersburg, Nikolai Kovalyov, energy is the “blood-vascular system” of the economy and industry in all countries, and the exhibition “Energetika&electrotechnika” in its scope and significance can be considered the heart of this system.

On behalf of the organizer of the exhibition, the company “ExpoForum”, Sergey Voronkov thanked partners for their effective cooperation and announced that following “Energetika&electrotechnika” will be organized in a qualitatively new level. “We want to see the twentieth anniversary exhibition was held as part of our new project – “Russian International Energy Forum.” In it, we plan to work together with St. Petersburg and the worldwide organizers that deal with energy themes, and involve the largest companies in participation of the Congress activities” – he said.

The “Energetika&electrotechnika 2012” is attended by 380 companies from 15 countries: Russia, Belarus, Hungary, Germany, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Finland, Czech Republic. They represent the latest innovations and advanced system solutions in the field of electrical and industrial automation. Compared to last year exposure increased by 10%: it takes a full two pavilions and balconies of the 7th pavilion. One of the key business events of this year is the conference “Energy conservation and energy efficiency in the Leningrad region.” Its purpose is modernization of the industry and the introduction of energy efficient technologies. Other important occasions in the exhibition are devoted to topical actions of bioenergy and personnel policy in the industry.
