OREANDA-NEWS. May 29, 2012. Ukraine is going to boost cooperation with the United States in energy sector. In the course of a next working trip to the U.S., the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko to discuss a wide range of mutually beneficial cooperation issues between countries in energy sector with representatives of the U.S. governmental authorities and companies.

This was announced by Yuriy Boyko during a roundtable conducted by consulting company in the energy sector IHS CERA for the presentation of a special study "Natural gas and Ukraine’s energy future".

"It’s scheduled a meeting with our American colleagues within the framework of Ukraine-US Working Group on energy security. The two sides have a lot of developments and we are to summarize the results of our annual work," said the Minister.

Yuriy Boiko emphasized Ukraine fulfills its obligations under bilateral agreements including issues of taking out nuclear fuel.
