OREANDA-NEWS. May 30, 2012. GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced delivery of three new Airbus A320 aircraft to Airphil Express in March, April and May to help the carrier expand its fleet.

All three aircraft are part of GECAS’ existing order book with Airbus. The airline carried 4 million passengers in 2011, recording a year-on-year increase of 122 percent. AirPhil Express projects it will carry close to 8 million passengers in 2012.
