OREANDA-NEWS. June 1, 2012. Gazpromneft Aero has begun "into the wing"refuelling of Transaero and Aeroflot aircraft at Kazan International Airport, along with S7 aircraft at Barnaul International Airport. This cooperation is part of the storage and refuelling services contracts with the airports’ refuelling complexes.

Transaero, Aeroflot and S7 airlines are Gazpromneft Aero’s largest partners. The main principle behind this cooperation is the timely, efficient provision of high-quality Gazprom Neft jet fuel to these airlines at the Russian and overseas airports.

Gazpromneft Aero currently provides its refuelling services to its partner airlines in several Russian cities, including Moscow, Murmansk, St. Petersburg, Omsk, Novosibirsk and Krasnoyarsk.

Gazpromneft Aero is a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft. The company began aircraft refuelling operations, including “into the wing” refuelling with Gazprom Neft aviation fuel, on Jan 1, 2008. In December 2008 Gazpromneft Aero became a strategic partner of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in the area of jet fuel.

Gazpromneft Aero is the current leader of the Russian jet fuel market. The company has its own network of refuelling complexes and ranks first in terms of jet fuel sales among network operators on the Russian retail market.
