OREANDA-NEWS. June 04, 2012. Creating new high-paying jobs, an employment rate increase in and facilitating access to the labor market for young specialists are the common tasks of the Government and social partners - employers and trade unions.

This was announced by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Social Policy Sergiy Tigipko during a today’s signing of the National Tripartite Agreement on employment and workplaces was held in the Cabinet of Ministers. The signing was attended by Yuriy Kulyk - from joint representative body of national trade unions and trade associations, as well Dmytro Firtash - from the joint representative body of employers at national level.

"We are combining the efforts of social partners to improve people's lives. First of all this can be done by providing the creation of new high-paying jobs," said Sergiy Tigipko.

According to the official, the agreement is designed for five years and includes implementation of 17 specific initiatives to improve the situation on the labor market, would contribute to increase the level of salaries and professional growth of employees. Among the expected results of the agreement Vice Prime Minister called, in particular, increase in employment of the population from 59.2 up to 64.3%.

According to Sergiy Tigipko, signing the agreement to considerably enhance the effectiveness of cooperation between the Government and social partners aimed at building a socially just and competitive Ukraine.
