OREANDA-NEWS. June 5, 2012. At the tenth meeting of the Higher Authority of the Orinoco Oil Belt (FPO), held in the facilities of the joint venture Petrocedeno in San Diego Cabrutica south of Anzoategui state, the People's Minister for Petroleum and Mining and President of Petroleos de Venezuela, SA (PDVSA), Rafael Ramirez, reiterated the commitment of the state oil company to promote the increased production to achieve compliance with the goal of 3500 million barrels per day (MBD) in the Oil Belt.

In line with the National Simon Bolivar and Battle of Carabobo Project, it was addressed the issues related to strengthening the operations contributing to the development of the areas that make up the Division Junin in infrastructure and early facilities.

"As it was noted by Commander President Hugo Chavez, the Orinoco Oil Belt is the cornerstone of national development, through various companies that serve the nation and of all Venezuelans," said Ramirez in an operational route by the tillers RS-19, QR-20, and the gas compressor plant Petrocedeno.

In addition, the Higher Authority of the FPO runs the Socialist Orinoco Project, which raises the social development model for communities that are located in outlying areas of the different blocks covering the Oil Belt.

Oil workers have demonstrated commitment and advances in operational activities planned throughout the Battle of Carabobo Project in Junin Division, represented in the District Cabrutica, Petrocedeno, Junin South District, and Indovenezolana.
