OREANDA-NEWS. June 06, 2012.  Ukraine appreciates the cooperation with the Republic of Moldova in trade and economic area. This was announced by First vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Valeriy Khoroshkovsky during a meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Vladimir Filat which took place in Chisinau on June 5, 2012.

During the meeting Valeriy Khoroshkovsky noted friendly tonality of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Moldova, as well highlighted the success of trade and economic relations. "In 2011, trade turnover between Ukraine and Moldova increased by 25%. This figure shows the effectiveness of economic cooperation between our countries," said First vice Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, Valeriy Khoroshkovsky stressed the need to address burning bilateral issues such as demarcation of the border. He called on to intensify resolving this matter and to hold a regular meeting of the Joint Demarcation Commission in June this year.
