OREANDA-NEWS. June 14, 2012. China latest data showed domestic steel products output rose by 6.3 percent year-on-year to 81.67 million tons in May.

The figure, which was 1.6 percentage points lower than April, equates to 2.63 million tons on a daily basis.

In the first five months, China produced 384.01 million tons of steel products, up 6.3 percent.

The growth rate was 0.1 percentage point higher than it was in the first quarter.
