OREANDA-NEWS. June 15, 2012. MDM Bank announced the appointment of Tina Kukka as Chief Financial Officer. Tina will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including the development and implementation of the bank’s business plan, arranging the business planning process, and corporate financing. In this position, Tina will replace Konstantin Rogov, who is leaving the bank.

Tina Kukka has extensive experience in financial management and in enhancing business process efficiency. She began her career working in financial markets, holding various posts at Hansabank (currently Swedbank, Latvia) between October 1997 and May 2008. Between 1999 and 2005, Tina was the Chief Financial Officer at Hansabank. She headed the Investment Management Department from 2005 to 2008. Tina was a member of the Hansabank Management Board between 2000 and 2008.

In parallel, from June 2005 to April 2008, Tina managed the Hansa Open Pension Fund (HANSA ATKLATAIS PENSIJU FONDS) as the Chairman of the Board, while from January 2007 to April 2008, she was a branch head for HANSA ELUKINDLUSTUS, an insurance company. From December 2008 to May 2009, Tina was a member of the Management Board of BALTROTORS, a manufacturing company. Between April 2009 and August 2010, she was Senior Vice-President and a member of the Management Board of PAREX BANKA, where she was responsible for the reduction of the company’s operating costs and enhancing the efficiency of its internal operations. From September 2010 to May 2012, she ran business advisory projects.

Tina graduated from the Stockholm School of Economics with a master’s degree in finance.
