PM of Ukraine: Each New Dwelling House - Contribution to Economy
OREANDA-NEWS. June 19, 2012. A commissioning of each new building contributes to economic development. This was declared by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov in Hostomel town [Kyiv region] in celebrations on the occasion of the residential building commissioning of the Antonov State Enterprise.
"I came especially to this festive event because – it’s a part of the program that we implement in order to revitalize residential construction in the country, making it affordable and on this basis to develop Ukraine’s economy. Therefore, each putting into operation house - a contribution to the development of our economy," said Mykola Azarov.
Prime Minister noted he was extremely pleased that the Antonov State Enterprise leadership has transferred a significant portion of their profits to the housing construction for their employees. He said this would enable to keep the young professionals in the workplaces.
Meanwhile, Mykola Azarov called on the SE Antonov’s leaders to modernize machine tools and equipment production lines. "Certainly, it’s necessary to modernize machine tools and equipment production lines. However, people work at the enterprise and they must have an incentive to work at this one. That is why absolutely true that along with concern about the renewal of production facilities the company management has taken care of how to maintain people, how to solve their housing issues. It’s necessary to work so further," said the Prime Minister.
The hotel and apartment complex of SE Antonov was built to keep of young professionals and prospective employees at the enterprise.
It consists of two buildings in 112 apartments each. Cost of living is from 485 to 580 UAH for an apartment per month.
