OREANDA-NEWS.  June 21, 2012. The Federal Arbitration Court of the Dalnevostochny District confirmed validity of a fine imposed by the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Primorie Region (Primorie OFAS Russia) upon “Vladivostok International Airport” OJSC for abusing market dominance – 1.1 million Rubles, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Earlier Primorie OFAS Russia found that “Vladivostok International Airport” OJSC unilaterally terminated aviation security (protection) services of the area, facilities and aircrafts of “Vladivostok Avia” OJSC on “Ozernie Klyuchi” helicopter site, located within Vladivostok (Knyevich) airport.

The antimonopoly body issued a determination to fine the company 1.1 million Rubles.

The Courts of three instances pronounced legitimacy of the conclusions made by Primorie OFAS Russia.

“By passing the ruling, the Court confirmed the position of the antimonopoly body that the airport cannot refuse to provide aviation security services”, commented the Head of Primorie OFAS Russia, Sergey Vyalykh.
