OREANDA-NEWS. July 02, 2012. The SKOLKOVO Startup Academy student Alexander Svinin got financing from a big investment fund Softline Venture Partners, which will help him develop his project called Smart Start. According to the press conference results, the deal has amounted to several hundred thousand dollars.

Smart Start is an application for social networks, supporting young people looking for a job. It is currently integrated into the VKontakte network and unites more than 100 clients placing there the information about starting positions, internship in Russia and abroad, temporary jobs and volunteer projects. Moreover, the service allows the clients (employers) to get the profile information about the potential employees and they can establish connections easily.

Alexanred comments on the deal: “The Smart Start team is proud of the partnership with such professionals as Softline Venture Partners. We are sure that our joint work will help us to fulfill our dream and create a user friendly service for the customers who are interested in starting a career. For me, this project is the first experience of doing a startup, and it is also important to get the knowledge delivered by the SKOLKOVO business school. It helps us to structure the project and see it from different perspectives.”

The received investments will enhance the development of the project and allow to build new services for its customers and users.
