OREANDA-NEWS. July 03, 2012. The retail turnover (including VAT) of the Apranga Group has made LTL 39.0 million (EUR 11.3 million) in June 2012, and has increased 24.1% in comparison to June 2011.

The retail turnover (including VAT) of Apranga Group has made LTL 118.2 million (EUR 34.2 million) in 2nd quarter 2012 or by 25.1% more than in 2011. In 1st quarter 2012 the retail turnover of Apranga Group increased by 25.4% comparing to the same previous year period.

The retail turnover (including VAT) of Apranga Group has made LTL 226.4 million (EUR 65.6 million) in January through June 2012 or 25.2% more than in 2011.

In January through June 2012 the retail turnover of Apranga Group in Lithuania was LTL 144.7 million (EUR 41.9 million), and increased 25.2% year-on-year.

In 1st half 2012 the retail turnover of Apranga Group in Latvia has made LTL 54.3 million (EUR 15.7 million), and increased 29.5% year-on-year.

In 1st half 2012 the retail turnover of Apranga Group in Estonia has made LTL 27.4 million (EUR 7.9 million), and increased 17.8% year-on-year.

Currently Apranga Group operates the chain of 124 stores covering an area of 64.9 thousand sq. m. The stores area increased by 2.6% during the year.

During the six months of 2012 Apranga Group opened 6, reconstructed 6, and closed 3 stores due to the end of their lease agreements and non-viability. Apranga Group will open 10 new stores and fully reconstruct 3 stores during August-September 2012.

Shares of Apranga are listed on Baltic equity list on NASDAQ OMX Vilnius Stock Exchange. Majority shareholder of Apranga Group is concern MG Baltic.
