OREANDA-NEWS. July 04, 2012. Belarus will be negotiating the fourth tranche of the stand-by loan provided by the EurAsEC Financial Bailout Fund in September-October 2012, Belarus’ Finance Minister Andrei Kharkovets told.

“We will be negotiating the fourth tranche in September-October. And, most probably, the greatest challenge will be to adjust Belarus’ macroeconomic policy for 2013. It appears that the negotiations with the Financial Bailout Fund will not be easy, as we will explain our position and hear out colleagues,” the minister said.

Asked to explain the delay in the arrival of the third tranche of the stand-by credit, the finance minister said the government was not quite happy with some of the conditions voiced by the Financial Bailout Fund. “We have been looking for compromises and we have found them,” Kharkovets said.
