OREANDA-NEWS. July 09, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company’s Yekaterinburg Branch insured the exhibition of graphic works collection “Francisco Goya. Twilight and Light” by Francisco Goya, the great Spanish artist and printmaker. The exhibition will take place in the Sverdlovsk regional museum of natural history, where calligraphic etchings and artifacts, 224 unique exhibits in total out of the collection of The National central museum of modern history of Russia are exhibited.

In the course of the exhibition project, museum visitors will have an opportunity to see four complete graphic series by Francisco Goya: Los Caprichos, The Disasters of War, Tauromachia and Proverbs. The calligraphic etchings series, issued in limited circulation in 1937 under the order of Spain government in the period of the civil war, were transferred to the Soviet Union in the honor of the 20th anniversary of the October revolution. The original boards of the artist are housed in Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid.

As a partner of the exhibition, Ingosstrakh Insurance Company insured all 224 exhibits from the collection of The National central museum of modern history of Russia, delivered to Yekaterinburg from Moscow. The calligraphic etchings and artifacts are insured under all risks condition according to the nail to nail method of insurance. Under such conditions, insurance coverage starts at the moment of exhibits exception from their permanent storage and finishes when pieces of art return to their places. The insurance coverage protects all the exhibits movements, including packing, shipping and installing, including preliminary and transitional storage and storage after the exhibition.

The exhibition of graphic works collection “Francisco Goya. Twilight and Light” by Francisco Goya will take place in the Sverdlovsk regional museum of natural history from June 29th till September 23rd, 2012.
