OREANDA-NEWS. July 13, 2012. Sberbank comes first in the popular poll of Consumer Choice-2012 in the Banks category organized before granting the 3rd Annual Award for Consumer Rights and Quality of Service, reported the press-centre of Sberbank.

The popular poll is conducted online at the Award's official website. Winners are determined in parallel with activities of the Expert Board's members independently from expert assessments. Participants that gain most votes are announced winners of the Consumer Choice-2012 Popular Poll.

The poll was supported by Romir, a research holding that organized public survey based on the international method of Global Reputation Index (GRI)*. Collected data on banks referred to by respondents was used to calculate reputation indexes. For example, Sberbank's visibility index was 90.6 percent, trust index – 87.7 percent under a 100-point scale. Both figures went up compared to findings of similar research carried out in 2008 and 2010.
