OREANDA-NEWS. July 16, 2012. The first Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine Evhen Sulyma met with the Japanese delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan Kanji Fujiko.

In turn, Kanji Fujiko noted positive developments in the Ukrainian-Japanese relations and stressed the need to strengthen cooperation. Participants discussed issues of cooperation in the field of education, science, technology.

First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine Evhen Sulyma proposed Japanese side to initiate scientific and practical conferences on technology transfer, commercialization of research and development and learning the experience of universities of Japan to introduce supernova developments.

Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan Kanji Fujiko stressed the relevance of the proposed ideas on technology transfer, and also supported the idea of scientific conferences, involving, in particular, representatives from universities, research institutions and government officials at various levels. Also, the Deputy Minister said that both countries have the potential, which would, under the terms of cooperation, to fruitful development in education, science, technology and sports.
