OREANDA-NEWS. July 17, 2012. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) and the Federal Service for regulating Alcohol Market (Rosalcoholregulirovanie) concluded an Agreement on Cooperation on revealing, preventing and suppressing violations of the law in production and sales of ethanol, alcohol and alcohol-containing products, as well as violations of the antimonopoly law, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The Agreement determined the procedures for exchanging information between parties, and provides for making joint arrangements as part of state control (supervision) for the purposes of revealing, preventing and suppressing violations of the law in the relevant fields, joint participation in expert councils, public advisory councils, and workshops.

Cooperation of authorities under the Agreement will facilitate achievement of state objectives on regulating alcohol industry and developing competition on the market of alcohol production and sales.
