OREANDA-NEWS. July 17, 2012. Ingosstrakh Insurance Company insured the responsibility of organizers and participants of the Silk Road 2012 International Off-Road Rally, which started on July 7 this year from the walls of the Moscow Kremlin. The total limit of liability under the agreement amounted to 1M Euros.

The agreement insures the liability of technical support and medical aid services, mass media organizations and employees, as well as liability of the state, republics, state formations, departments, municipalities or other state institutions, their employees, employees of law enforcement agencies, servicemen that take part in organization, control and ensuring order and security at the event.

The agreement insures the liability of all the rally organizers and participants above for doing damage to life, health or property of third persons as a result of mechanical damage of use of equipment and means of transport, use of pyrotechnics, illumination and other special effects related to advertisement and festive decoration. The agreement also covers the damage which may be done due to hidden defects of sports grounds, equipment and inventory, and also risks of gas explosions, fire and consequences of fire extinguishing.

The Silk Road 2012 International Off-Road Rally will pass along the route Moscow - Ryazan - Volgograd - Elista - Maykop – Genenjik from July 7 to July 13, 2012. The total length of the route will amount to 4 000 km. Over 100 jeeps and 25 trucks are taking part in the rally; all of them had administrative and technical examinations.

This is a fourth tour. The first three races were held in 2009, 2010 and 2011 on the route KazanAshkhabad, Saint PetersburgSochi and MoscowSochi.
