OREANDA-NEWS. July 18, 2012. The Ural Airlines showcase at the INNOPROM 2012 International Exhibition introduced online services making it possible for the airline's customers to procure additional services. In the course of the presentation Alexey Fomin, Deputy Director General, Quality Director of Ural Airlines spoke about the possibility of purchasing a ticket on the airline's website, order special food (vegetarian, children's, seafood) to be served during the flight, purchase an Aeroexpress train ticket, check yourself in for the flight using a mobile phone. He also announce the airline's next plans to develop this discipline: the possibility of issuing a Deutsche Bahn ticket along with the regular e-ticket.

"Ural Airlines have been systematically developing all these services for several years now. We are aiming to become a most client-oriented airline. The current development of the industry tells us that only those who managed to retain the client by offering such a level of service that he or she would be willing to return to the company become successful. We are on this journey, and are planning to continue developing interactive services involving passengers in the process, offering them a choice of service packs that they need for a comfortable journey," Alexey Fomin noted.

According to him, the airlines is planning to continue expanding the list of online services, launch a new version of the airline's website with a clearer and more convenient user interface and new functionality. The nearest future is to see a launch of the German Railway train ticket issuing service: along with an e-ticket for an Ural Airlines flight to Germany, the passenger also receives a special code which makes it possible to issue a free train ticket to any town in Germany on the day of arrival. The service is expected to become operational in the nearest future.
