Oil dispatch from Koz'mino special marine oil port in May amounted 13 parties of oil of 100 thousand tons each one, according to the plan. 38 per cent of exported raw material was directed to the USA. Performance indicators of the special marine oil port in May 2012 amounted 1.3 million tons of oil exported to the countries of Asian-Pacific Region. According to the consignment department of Koz’mino special marine oil port, the plan of monthly dispatch is completely fulfilled. The USA is the leading country among the directions to where the tanker parties were sent in May. It was dispatched about 0.5 million tons of oil to this direction (38 per cent). Japan occupies the second place according to the quantity of oil sent there in May (23 per cent); Thailand, the South Korea and China occupy the third place (8 per cent to each country), then the Philippines (5 per cent), and Malaysia (2 per cent) go.

In total, the dispatch of oil from Koz'mino port since the beginning of the year amounted 6.4 million tons. According to the results of the five months of the year 2012, the main consignee of ESPO oil became Japan, to where 2 million tons of oil was dispatched. According to a preliminary schedule for June, the port plans to dispatch 12 parties of 100 thousand tons of oil each to oil tankers. The first two tankers have already been sent to the destination point. The next tanker is to be moored at Koz’mino’s port terminal in the end of this week.

Koz’mino special marine oil port is positioned in the end point of the Eastern Siberia – Pacific Ocean (ESPO) oil pipeline in Nakhodka city of Primorsky Krai. The capacity of Koz’mino SpetsMorNeftePort Ltd is 15 million tons of oil per year. Its expansion presupposes an increase of volumes of exported oil up to 30 million tons of oil per year. The termination of the second stage of ESPO project is scheduled for the fourth quarter of the year 2012.
