Truck production (including chassis-cabs and light trucks) in Russia rose 5.5% year on year to 98.5 thousand units in the first half-year 2012, according to ASM Holding analysts’ provisional data. Out of the total production figure, domestic truck output was 85.8 thousand units (up 4.0%), and foreign-brand truck output was 12.7 thousand units (up 17.2% compared to an 11.6% fall in January-April 2012 and a slight growth by 1.8% in the first five months).
