OREANDA-NEWS. July 19, 2012. The first house on the social initiative of the President "Affordable Housing" in Ukraine is planned to be commissioned in autumn 2013. This was announced by vice Prime Minister - Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov during a working visit to Italy to study experience of building of affordable housing.

"If all goes well, the first house will be ready next year - approximately in September and October", - said Borys Kolesnikov, adding that it is not about a single house but neighborhoods of such housing. Vice Prime Minister noted that it would be completely accessible to the public housing: "The task of the Government - to meet the cost of such housing up to 6 thousand UAH per 1 sq km".

Borys Kolesnikov said that will be submitted a series of legislative changes regarding the construction of such housing, particularly on the transfer of land for development. It is planned to consider the free transfer of land by municipalities for the construction of such housing. "The state will install the entire network, but the apartment will be sold only finished. Any advance payment will not be taken; it will be banned at the legislative level" - he said.

Vice Prime Minister also added that according to the program the State will consider the possibility of paying interest on loans to companies, the compensation rate of the buyer.

At the same credits for affordable housing is planned to make under 3% per annum on the basis of financial leasing.
