OREANDA-NEWS. July 20, 2012. UTair Aviation has received the first Boeing 767-200ER aircraft to expand its long haul fleet. This is the first aircraft to be delivered under a contract for eight aircraft of this type. UTair expects the delivery of two additional Boeing aircraft of this type by the end of 2012.

The Boeing 767-200ER is the first long-range wide-body aircraft in the UTair fleet. The salon seats 170 passengers in two class configurations: 25 seats in business class and 145 in economy class. The 4.7 m wide passenger cabin provides additional comfort during the flight. The aircraft has six toilet cubicles, including a special toilet with access for passengers with disabilities.

Updating the fleet with wide body long-haul aircraft will support improved onboard service as well as enabling the airline to develop its route network with long-haul flights. The first regular flight operations for the new aircraft will be on Moscow - Surgut and MoscowTyumen routes.

This Boeing 767-200ER is equipped with Pratt & Whitney engines. The aircraft has a cruising altitude of 13,000 m, a maximum take-off weight of more than 179 tons and a range of 12,200 km. The aircraft has an average cruising speed of 851 km/h, a 47.6 m wing span, and a total length of 48. 5 m.

The Boeing 767 is one of the most popular long-haul aircrafts in the world, used today by leading international carriers. The aircraft meets modern environmental safety standards, producing substantially less harmful emissions per kilogram of spent fuel than other jet liners of comparable size.
