OREANDA-NEWS.  Since 10 August this year Ukio bankas clients will benefit from lower fees of investment services for trade in debt securities, reported the press-centre of Ukio bankas.

“After Ukio bankas has become member of Lithuania Government debt securities auction, we can offer much more favourable fees to our clients for purchasing Lithuanian Government securities in the auction and in the secondary market”, says director of Ukio bankas Financial Brokerage Department  Ruta Kalasinskaite-Kiskiene.

Since 10 August the rates charged for purchasing bonds in Lithuanian Government securities auctions that take place in Nasdaq OMX Vilnius Exchange to Ukio banko clients will go down from 0.1% to 0.01%, and the minimum fee will be reduced from LTL50 to LTL 20. The transactions of previously issued Lithuanian Government and companies’ securities in the secondary market will also cost less, just 0.02% per transaction, and securities from the Bank’s portfolio will be sold free of charge. The rates and minimum fees for purchasing bonds and Eurobonds of foreign issues have also been decreased.

“As considerable uncertainty continues to haunt financial markets many investors choose to invest in safer instruments generating stable income, therefore we appreciate the ability to offer more favourable conditions for our clients to purchase their preferable debt securities”, says Ms. R.Kalasinskaite-Kiskiene.
