OREANDA-NEWS. July 25, 2012. The Cabinet will soon send to the Verkhovna Rada a new version of the bill on the promotion of exports.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this during a meeting on Tuesday with leading scientists and economists.

"The bill on the promotion of exports was adopted in May. Unfortunately, as often happens, a number of People's Deputies have made the amendments in developing the bill, which have distorted its meaning, and the President was forced, at our initiative, to put a veto. We have already reworked the bill and soon we introduce it to the Verkhovna Rada, and I think it will be taken" - Mykola Azarov said.

He said the bill would support the export activities through the provision of export credits at the stage of the production cycle, use of government guarantees to fulfill the foreign trade agreements and insurance of Ukrainian exporters against the risks of defaults and financial losses associated with the implementation of foreign trade agreements.
