OREANDA-NEWS. July 27, 2012. SOLLERS and ISUZU Motors Limited announce signing of an agreement about resuming of manufacturing of N-series trucks at Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.

Besides, according to the terms of the agreement ISUZU Motors Limited is planning to increase its share in Joint Venture SOLLERS ISUZU up to 45%, with that SOLLERS’ share will decrease till 50% and the share of the trading house Sojitz will remain the same, i.e. 5%.

Production will be started at UAZ plant already in June 2012. N-Series trucks  with a payload of 1.5, 3 and 5 tons (including new models NPR75LM with an extra-long wheelbase) as well as renewed versions of trucks and extended packages will roll off the assembly line.

Joint Venture SOLLERS ISUZU will still be engaged in manufacturing and distributing of Japanese trucks in Russia and their selling via existing dealer network consisting at the moment out of 40 centers all over Russia.

We remind, that in July 2007 ISUZU SOLLERS JSC and ISUZU signed an agreement about establishment of a joint venture SOLLERS – ISUZU in Russia for manufacturing and selling of commercial vehicles.
