OREANDA-NEWS. July 30, 2012. Finance Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Kolobov while his working visit to Dnipropetrovsk and Jean-Patrick Marquet, EBRD Director for Municipal and Environmental Infrastructure signed a Loan agreement between Ukraine and the EBRD in the project "The completion of the Metro in Dniepropetrovsk." European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will grant funding of 152 million euros.

The total amount of the loan project is more than 300 million euros, in which the contribution of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is 152 million euro, contribution to the European Investment Bank - 152 million euros. The project will provide additional grant funds in the amount of 1.94 million euros.

Given the difficult economic situation in the world, the bringing of credit and investment funds is a manifestation of investor confidence in the actions of the Ukrainian government and loyalty to the chosen path of structural reforms, efficiency and effectiveness. Strategy and a clear mechanism for implementation of the Government of Ukraine's ambitious program of modernization and economic reform programs are evaluated by investors as a signal confident of the economic situation in Ukraine, tangible positive changes, as well as a favorable investment climate.
