OREANDA-NEWS. July 30, 2012. A year-on-year increase in sales of spare parts is more than 15%. Thus, a business plan for spare parts sales under commission agreements was overfulfille, reported the press-centre of KAMAZ.

Thanks to a sales agreement, by 16% more products of partner enterprises which supply their spare parts to OJSC KAMAZ were sold.

Measures which enabled to achieve this successful result include the development and introduction of a new package for outsourced spare parts, building and assembly jobs in subsidiaries in Kemerovo and Khabarovsk, the purchase of industrial trucks and floor equipment, including racking. Sales were boosted also due to works carried out to increase the number of spare parts in their original KAMAZ packaging (354 items of spare parts are packed in KAMAZ’s original boxes, 623 items are packed in KAMAZ’s brand bags).

Measures for reduction of the amount of non-liquid spare parts piled up in warehouses of AvtoZapchast KAMAZ had a positive influence on the company’s performance too. In comparison with the beginning of the year, there are half as many non-liquid spare parts in the company’s warehouses now.

The company plans to continue increasing trade. It sets itself ambitious goals for the second half-year. Thus, AvtoZapchast KAMAZ will have sold parts to the tune of 5.4 billion rubles under commission agreements by the end of this year. The sales of parts produced by subcontractors will additionally bring RUB 610 million.
