OREANDA-NEWS. August 02, 2012. In July 2012 at the Yaraktinskoye NGKM ‘Irkutsk Oil Company' two Aviadvigatel GTES ‘Ural-6000' gas turbine generating sets were put into service.

The gensets are designed for generating electric power for practically all facilities of the Yaraktinskoye oil and gas condensate deposit from drilling rigs to facilities of the social infrastructure. The commissioning of the two GTES ‘Ural-6000' allowed power engineers of the Irkutsk Oil Company to increase the installed electric output of the existing power center by 12 MW, enhance the dependability of the local power network of the site as well as provide the synchronization and the joint operation in the  local grid of the GTES ‘Ural-6000' and the PAES-2500. To date the total installed electric output of the power center amount to 27 MW.

The contract for the manufacture and the delivery of the equipment and the performance of works on installation supervision, commissioning and training of the personnel was signed in May 2011. Taking into account strict requirements of the Customer concerning the time of manufacturing the production(10 months), the whole equipment was shipped to the site of the Gas Processing Plant of the Yaraktinskoye NGKM in the early April 2012, and within the last three months the entire package of works on the commissioning and the acceptance of gensets for the industrial operation has been accomplished.

The whole equipment delivered by Aviadvigatel OJSC (the GTES ‘Ural-6000', the complete switchgear, the loading resistance module) is made in the block-modular design for the use at the open site of the GPP of the Yaraktinskoye NGKM considering the severe climate of the Ust Kut District, the Irkutsk Region.

The promptitude and the quality of the works performed by Aviadvigatel specialists have not gone unnoticed on the part of the Irkutsk Oil Company. In April 2012, the contract for the delivery of the third GTES ‘Ural-6000' was concluded. In the plan of the company is the further extension of the power center using the gas turbine equipment developed by the Perm design bureau.
