OREANDA-NEWS. August 03, 2012. Sinopec Qingdao Refining & Chemical sold three cargoes of LPG totalling 5,400 tonnes by barge in the week ended 20 July, up by 800 tonnes from the previous week, according to ICIS C1 research.

The company’s LPG inventory dropped to a low level thanks to normal sales both by barge and truc, a company source said.

It pegged its LPG posting price at yuan (CNY) 6,200/tonne, up by CNY700/tonne from a week earlier, according to the source.

Its LPG output remained stable at 1,100 tonnes/day currently, versus the normal level of 1,800 tonnes/day.

Located at Qingdao city in Shandong province, Qingdao Refining & Chemical has a crude processing capacity of 10m tonnes/year. It supplies about half of its LPG to south China and east China’s Zhejiang province by barge.
