OREANDA-NEWS. August 7, 2012. JSC “Lengazspetsstroy”, member of the SGM Group of companies, started air testing of the pipeline “Onshore production facility of Kirinskoye gas condensate field – Main CS Sakhalin”.

The tests are carried out subsequently on two sections of the gas pipeline, and the pressure on each one of them is brought to 110 kg/cm2. This will confirm the strength of welded joints and the integrity of the gas pipeline. The tests will run until the end of August.

The trunk gas pipeline connects the onshore processing facility (OPF) of Kirinskoye gas condensate field and the main compressor station Sakhalin, where the gas transmission system (GTS) Sakhalin — KhabarovskVladivostok starts.

The length of the gas pipeline "Onshore production facility of Kirinskoye gas condensate field — Main CS Sakhalin" with the reserve string is over 145 km. The reserve string is under construction at the location where the gas pipeline route crosses the Tym River, auto and railway roads, as well as an active tectonic fault.

The gas pipeline is planned to be put in commission in September 2012.
