OREANDA-NEWS. August 08, 2012. Some issues of delivery of Ukrainian pipe products on the market of the Customs Union of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus have been settled. The Government has adopted an order dated that approve the draft of the Protocol amending the Agreement on the regulation of the delivery of certain types of steel tubes made in Ukraine on the markets of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation dated ob September 23, 2011, and provided the appropriate authority to sign it.

The purpose of the signing of the Protocol to the Agreement is to ensure access of certain Ukrainian pipe production in the Russian Federation without payment of additional anti-dumping duty to the end of 2012. The draft protocol provides for quotas for the delivery of certain types of steel pipes to Russia in the period from August to December 31, 2012 in the amount of 150 thousand tons.
