OREANDA-NEWS. August 8, 2012. The new PrivatBank’s technology solves a problem of paying not "round" amounts of money through terminals.

Ukrainian PrivatBank implemented a technology for giving changes while making payments in its self-service terminals. Now, a customer can get a change automatically on his/her plastic card, Liqpay account or mobile phone account while paying at self-service terminals in cash.

"If hitherto customers, while, for example, paying utility bills, often used to have to pay actually something in advance due to "rounding up" the payment sum - now they can pay the exact amount stated in a bill, transferring the change from the transaction to a credit card or a mobile phone account," said Yuri Kandaurov, the Deputy Chairman of PrivatBank.

More than 120 types of payment transactions can be done through PrivatBank’s self-service terminals – from replenishing of a bank card account or a mobile phone account to paying utility bills, sending and receiving international money transfers, repaying of a bank loan and making other payments. More than 4,500 terminals across the country operate around the clock almost anywhere in Ukraine, where PrivatBank is represented.
