OREANDA-NEWS. August 8, 2012. Vladimir Berezovsky's team at Taldinskaya-Zapadnaya 1 Mine (with Mikhail Lupiy as the director, and Sergei Musokhranov as the section supervisor) operated by SUEK-Kuzbass hit an all-Russia record in monthly coal winning at the production face.

In July, the team won 827,000 metric tons of coal, beating the previous record of Vladimir Melnik's team at Kotinskaya mine (affiliated to SUEK-Kuzbass) established in 2012 by almost 120,000 metric tons.

The record was established at longwall face No. 67-08. The longwall work is carried out using a mechanized coal winning system comprising 175 mechanized supports by DBT (Bucyrus), an SL-500 shearer loader (Eickhoff), a PF4/1132 longwall conveyor, a PF4/1132 gate-road conveyor, an SK11/11 crusher and a B-1600 belt loader. The longwall is peculiar in that the coal from the production face is transported to the industrial site using a conveyor chain consisting of 3 belt conveyors with 1,600 mm wide belts and the productivity rate of 3,500 metric tons per hour. On the surface, a radial HE-K2L1600 belt stacker boasting the productivity rate of 3,500 metric tons per hour forms a coal storage.

"Such a result has been achieved owing to the high professionalism of the whole personnel of the colliery, and the miners' dedication. The program of equipping the facilities with machinery was also a major factor. This is a worthy gift of our miners for the entire coal industry of Russia, commemorating the 65th anniversary of the Miner's Day," observed Vladimir Artemyev, Deputy CEO, Manufacturing Director, SUEK.
