OREANDA-NEWS. August 09, 2012. The state has currently provided effective mechanisms for realization by citizens of the right to housing. Programs receiving state support of a home, including mortgage reduction programs are working and produce results. That was informed by the Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Anatoliy Blyznyuk during a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

"Today the main thing - a human desire to participate in the program. Because the state has currently provided opportunities for exercise of the right to housing and will continue to do so. It is not necessary to attach exceptional importance to digital indicators as launching any particularly large-scale project is being characterized by inertia. A period of mass holidays expires. Citizens return to work, finally determined to participate. They are gathering and submitting the necessary documents. Offer to purchase homes under cheapened mortgage almost at same level of the number of those wishing to buy. But this process is a comprehensive: someone is willing, but does not suitable for the specified parameters, and someone decides to use another program. The main thing - reduction mechanism for mortgage has been launched and already has proven successful," said Anatoliy Blyznyuk.

According to the Ministry Head, the program shows good dynamics. Last week there were accredited for the program 13 houses and 563 apartments, 777 people expressed their willingness to participate in the program. There have been concluded 49 contracts on partial compensation of interest, the banks financed 55 loans at 11.5 million UAH.

"A focused work at all levels gives the result. The Ministry is not limited only with developing regulations. For example, in the website of Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine is available information on the map where everybody may view offer of housing for each region. There is also a loan calculator allows you calculate the cost of approximately loans," said A. Blyznyuk.
