TEO LT, AB, the largest provider of integrated telecommunication, IT and television services in Lithuania, has offered users of the Interactive GALA digital television (IPTV) services a new additional service – "Ziureti nuo pradziu" ("Startover"). Customers, who subscribe to this service, will be able to start over (rewind), pause or fast forward the already running shows or movies.

According to Nerijus Ivanauskas, Chief Marketing Officer of TEO, more and more Interactive GALA TV users start using content management services, such as "Mano TV irasai" ("My TV Recordings") and "Videonuoma" ("Video-On-Demand"), which allow the viewer to choose when and which favourite shows to view, and provide the possibility to rent the latest movies without even leaving home.

"So we decided to offer another additional service – "Ziureti nuo pradziu" ("Startover"). In order to rewind the already started shows or events from the first seconds, one just needs to press a few buttons on the TV remote and start over the current broadcast of a show, serial, concert, movie, and now – the Olympics", - N. Ivanauskas said.

Interactive GALA TV users can also use another additional function – having selected the "Irasyti laidu kategorijas" section on the menu column entitled "Mano TV irasai" ("My TV Recordings"), customers will be able, without using any extra equipment, to record all the TV programmes included in to the Favorites category. This innovation will be particularly useful for those who do not manage to get back home from work on time or decide to enjoy summer pleasures and stay longer in the open air. All shows of a certain category, such as news programmes will be recorded by "Mano TV irasai" ("My TV Recordings"). Records will be available for watching for 14 days.

The "Ziureti nuo pradziu" ("Startover") additional service and the "Irasyti laidu kategorijas" function of the "Mano TV irasai" ("My TV Recordings") service are available to Interactive GALA TV users without any additional charges.

Users of the Interactive GALA digital television (IPTV) services, which are provided in most cities of Lithuania, can watch more than 80 entertainment, cognitive, sports, news, and high-definition television (HDTV) channels. The interactive technology-based services allow users, without using any extra equipment, to record their favourite TV programmes and watch them at desired times, to use the Virtual Video-On-Demand services, listen to radio, read news, horoscopes or weather forecasts, and sing Karaoke.
