OREANDA-NEWS. August 13, 2012. Witnessed the ceremony of closing the All-Russia Professional Skill Contest "The Best in Profession" with multiple nominations.

The Contest featuring five nominations was attended by 20 teams from five coal areas of Russia: the Republic of Buryatia, the Khabarovsk Territory, the Primorye and Krasnoyarsk Territories, and the Kemerovo Region.

They competed at two sites: Taldinskay-Zapadnaya 1 Mine operated by SUEK-Kuzbass hosted underground mining teams while Kedrovsky coal pit operated by JSC  HC Kuzbassrazresugol hosted surface mining teams.

It was a two stage contest. At the 1st stage the contestants sat for a theoretical exam, at the 2nd one they displayed their professional skills in practice.

The team comprising Andrei Semizorov, Kirill Sementsov, Alexei Pfafenrod and Yevgeny Volkov from Taldinskay-Zapadnaya 1 Mine (SUEK-Kuzbass) turned out to be the best sinkers of horizontal and incline workings.

Taldinskay-Zapadnaya 1 Mine run by SUEK-Kuzbass also won in the Best Mine Face Worker nomination. The team: Alexander Svidritsky, Eduard Fominykh, Sergei Sarin, Alexei Bragin (Alexei Alexandrovich).

Oleg Yelizarov from Berezovsky open pit mine operated by JSC  SUEK-Krasnoyarsk was recognized as the best driver of BelAZ dump trucks.

The Best Excavator Operator award was won by Valery Cherepanov from Bachat coal pit (JSC  UC Kuzbassrazrezugol); with Alexander Kashirin (JSC  Tugnui open-pit mine) and Denis Permyakov (JSC  SUEK-Krasnoyarsk) becoming the silver and bronze winners.

The Best Electrical Fitter of the 5th rank is Victor Babinets from Taldinskay-Zapadnaya 1 Mine run by SUEK-Kuzbass.

Thus, representatives of SUEK operations won awards in all nominations.

Summing up the Russian part of the Contest Andrei Malakhov, Deputy Governor of the Kemerovo Region, noted that the teams worked at the most advanced enterprises of the Russian coal industry. And the all-Russia record in monthly coal winning - 827,000 mt of coal - established in July by Vladimir Berezovsky's team from Taldinskay-Zapadnaya 1 Mine run by SUEK-Kuzbass was the most convincing argument to confirm the miners' skill on the eve of celebrating their professional day.
