OREANDA-NEWS. August 14, 2012. The Government improved state regulation of prices for medicines and medical products are sold through the pharmacy network. The corresponding decision has been accepted by the Cabinet of Ministers.

A list of drugs that are fixed by state regulation of prices is currently expanding. According to the Ministry of Health, 55 names of drugs were added to this category and now a whole list of so-called socially oriented medicines consists of 270 positions.

Limiting supply and sales extra charges for such products are set no higher than 12 percent of wholesale prices and retail - not more than 25 percent of the purchase price.

For pharmacies it has been determined the required minimum range of socially-targeted drugs, which is defined by the Ministry of Health.
