Experts point out the decline in prices in the secondary real estate market and expalin this fact by the ambigiuos situation in the area of euro; the slowdown of the economy, the more catious buyers, the decrease in remittances from abroad and the outflow of labour force from Moldova.

As of July, 2012, 1 sq.m. in one-room apartments cost 582 to 703 euros in Botanica, 654 to 688 euros in Buiucani, 683 to 802 euros in Centru, 644 to 655 euros in Ciocani, 648 to 687 euros in Riscani.

1 sq.m. in two-room apartments was offered at a price of 545 to 648 euros in Botanica, 644 to 654 euros in Buiucani, 663 to 724 euros in Centru, 600 to 646 euros in Ciocani, 627 to 680 euros in Riscani. 1 sq.m. in three-room apartments cost 494 to 581 euros in Botanica, 549 to 564 euros in Buiucani, 549 to 564 euros in Centru, 528- to 626 euros in Ciocani, 528 to 599 euros in Riscani. 1 sq.m. in four-room apartments was sold at a price of 449 to 524 euros in Botanica, 512 to 524 euros in Buiucani, 509 to 558 euros in Centru, 475 to 529 euros in Ciocani, 524 to544 euros in Riscani.
