OREANDA-NEWS. August 15, 2012. Shafagat Takhautdinov, General Director of TATNEFT, joined the TOP- 10 according to the rating of the most influential managers of the fuel and energy complex held in August by the Agency of Political and Economic Communications (APEC), reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

The prestigious top ten ranking in the category of "very strong influence" includes Alexey Miller ( "Gazprom"), Vagit Alekperov ("LUKOIL"), Igor Sechin ("Rosneft"), Gennady Timchenko (Gunvor International), Alexander Medvedev ("Gazprom"), Nikolay Tokarev ("Transneft"), Sergei Kiriyenko ( "Rosatom"), Leonid Mikhelson ("NOVATEK"), Shafagat Takhautdinov ( TATNEFT), Vladimir Yevtushenko (AFK "Systema").

An expert survey was conducted to determine the rating, which involved participation of 25 renowned experts: economists, political scientists, investment and industry branch analysts and journalists. The evaluation was conducted for 81 candidates: representatives of the nuclear energy industry, gas, oil, coal and oil transportation industry branches and electrical energy industry.

The experts were asked the following question: "How would you rate the political and lobbying influence of the following entrepreneurs and top managers of the fuel and energy complex in Russia by 1 to 10 scale in the Russian government, the Presidential Administration, the Federal Assembly of Russian Federation, as well as their professional influence in the business community?"

Initially, the experts evaluated the influence of each of the candidates and later the arithmetic mean value of the experts' assessments (mean scores) were determined. The resulting rating is a consolidated influence assessment of 50 large entrepreneurs and top executives of the fuel and energy complex.
