OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2012. Experts of the Russian sanitary service Rospotrebnadzor will soon inspect six Moldovan companies in view of authorizing them to export wine to Russia, a statement by the Russian service has said.

The experts will visit the companies IM "Euro-Alco", S.C. "Vinaria Tiganca" SRL", SA "Vinaria din Vale&Co" FJ, ICS "S.B.Wines" SRL, SA "Cioc-Maidan Vin", SC "Tartcomvin" SRL.

The same statement noted that Rospotrebnadzod had authorized another three Moldovan companies - SA "Imperial Vin", "Suvorov-Vin" SRL and IM "Salcuta" SRL - to export wine to Russia following lab tests carried out by the National Centre for Checking the Quality of Alcoholic Beverages.

At the same time, Rospotrebnadzor expressed bewilderment at the fact that such Moldovan wineries as "Buket Moldavii" and IM "Vinaria Purcari", which had been entitled to market their production in Russia, have been showing little interest in exports.

Since early 2012, Moldova exported over 20.7 million litres of alcoholic beverages, Rospotrebnadzor reported, noting that the quality of the provided production remains stable.
