OREANDA-NEWS. August 16, 2012. Belarus has introduced temporary restrictions on imports and transit live pigs from Ukraine’s Zaporizhia Region following the outbreak of African swine fever in the village of Komishevatka (Zaporizhia). The restriction takes effect on August 3, 2012.

The temporary ban also applies to swine sperm, pork, hide, swine intestines, bristle and hoofs, hunter’s trophies, wild boar’s meat and related meat products, organic fodder.
