OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2012. The law "On Employment" will help to create a modern labour market in Ukraine and accelerate the development of the economy. This was stated by vice Prime Minister - Minister of Social Policy Sergiy Tigipko in connection with the signing of this law by the President. The law will come into force on 1 January next year.

According to vice Prime Minister, adoption of this law has a positive impact on economic development. "Every person who is in the illegal economy, it is the loss to GDP. By giving people jobs, we not only strengthen their social protection, but also improve the situation in the economy as a whole" - Sergiy Tigipko said.

The next step, according to vice Prime Minister – adoption of a package of bills that encourage investment in the country. Draft laws that provide incentives for investors in tax and customs payments have already passed its first reading in the Parliament.

"Workplaces are not only the benefits for employers, but also additional investment. We should not simply to invite investors to work in Ukraine, but to create for them a "green corridor" - vice Prime Minister stressed.

Recall that in the Employment Act, prepared by the Ministry of Social Policy, provided an annual compensation of one hundred percent of unified social contribution for those employers who create jobs for the disadvantaged in the labour market categories of people: graduates with no work experience, parents with children under 6 years old, the disabled, orphans , those over 50 years. People over 45 can receive a voucher from the state for the obtaining a new specialty and graduates who will work in rural areas can count on one-time assistance in the amount of 10 minimum wages. In addition, the law prohibits in ads for a job to specify the desired sex and age of the candidate. For services to recruitment agencies will pay only employers.
