OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2012. There was held a meeting with participation of representatives of the leading companies of Japan and “NIBULON’s” management. The companies “Kagosima Meat Group”, “Taiyo Flour Milling Co.”, “Riken Nosan-Kako Co.”, “Rynkyn-Siryo”, “Genkai Silo”, “Mitsui & Co.” are engaged in grain delivery, flour production, transportation and storage of grain cargoes. The main purpose of a visit of representatives of Japanese companies was to discuss prospects for grain delivery to Japan and to create long-term reliable partnership relations in future.

The foreign delegation visited the transshipment terminal of the company in Mykolayiv city. Guests became familiar with the activity of the company and transshipment terminal, internal logistics of the company, they visited the modern chemical-technological laboratory equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment. Besides, they saw non-self-propelled fleet of the company and even visited the tug.

The General Director of “Mitsui & Co., Ltd” company Yasuaki Irie had operational experience in the USA and Brazil but when he visited the transshipment terminal of “NIBULON” for the first time he highly appreciated the level of work and also equipping of the terminal with modern equipment.

During negotiations with participation of foreign guests and Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, the General Director of “NIBULON”, Andriy Vadaturskyy, the Deputy General Director for commerce, Vira Shpyl’, the head of contract execution department, and also Dmyrto Furda, the expert of contract execution department, the Japanese delegation showed an interest in further development of trading relations with “NIBULON”.

“Our goal is to see the real situation in the Ukrainian grain market and also to become familiar with “NIBULON” as a potential Ukrainian partner. Japan imports 18 mln tons of corn and 5 mln tons of wheat during the year. The USA is a traditional supplier but now the situation in the market is changing and we realize an importance of the Ukrainian supplier. Therefore we would like to familiarize with your company in detail and to consider prospect for further cooperation. We chose “NIBULON” because your company is well-known in the foreign market for its perfect commodity quality control system”, Mr Irie, the General Director of “Mitsui & Co.” company, mentioned.

Due to their export credit funds on a security of government they finance the purchase of modern equipment for our company.”

On the request of Mr Kawasaki being impressed by the level of development of our company Oleksiy Vadaturskyy told his principles of doing business successfully, “In order to reach the level we have now and to hold out against conditions of the Ukrainian market our company worked purposefully over a period of its development”.

During the meeting the representatives of Japanese delegation informed that Japan imports about 18 mln tons of agricultural commodities annually. According to them 10% of the given commodities and that is about 2 mln tons can be delivered by Ukraine.

Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, the General Director of “NIBULON”, expressed his readiness to cooperate with Japan and he also stressed that the company follows transparent policy therefore a purchasing country will have an opportunity to control processes of quality determination of commodities and to control shipment of commodities.
