OREANDA-NEWS. August 21, 2012. Hainan Airlines plans to resume their Shenzhen-Sydney route on December 3, 2012. Flights will leave Shenzhen Bao An International Airport at 18:40 Beijing time, and arrive in Sydney (Kingsford Smith) Airport at 07:00 AEST. Return trips are planned to set off from Sydney at 09:30 AEST and arrive in Shenzhen at 16:20 Beijing time; the total journey will take just 9 hours. The opening of this route will provide a convenient travel option for overseas students, businessmen and tourists traveling between China and Australia.

Hainan Airlines has been making preparations for this route for some time now. From the selection of aircraft, allocation of fight crew to the optimization of in-flight equipment and services, every aspect has been taken into careful consideration. This route will use the luxurious wide-bodied A330-300 passenger jet, which has a spacious cabin making it easy to walk about and stretch your legs, unlike many other tight spaced smaller planes. Each seat is fitted with a personal touch screen LCD TV with a wide selection of films and TV shows. Seats in business class, known as the comfiest in the world, are 74 inches apart and can recline a full 180?. The seats even include a gentle massage function, providing you with a private and relaxing journey.

Flights not only allow you to enjoy the comfort of a spacious wide-body jet, but also provide you with tantalizing inboard meals blending traditional Chinese cooking with Western style food. Each meal will include a choice of at least two dishes and we will occasionally recommend specialty local foods from the destination of your flight.

At present we have 20 domestic routes flying from and to Shenzhen which means you can take connecting flights to Sydney through Shenzhen from a number of cities nationwide. Hainan Airlines also plans to increase the number of routes between China and Australia with the help of other airlines, in order to meet the needs of passengers traveling between the two countries.
