OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2012. In July, 2012 an amount of mortgage credits to individuals decreased 20% to 54.6 mln. leis as compared with the previous month. Construction loans were extended at an average interest rate of 10.77% in July against 11.31% in June, NBM informs.

An average interest rate was 12.92% p.a. on mortgage credits extended for 1 to 2 years; 10.66% p.a. on credits extended for 2 go 5 years and 10.68% on credits extended for over 5 years. An amount of consumer credits for individuals increased 3.2% to 191.5 mln. leis in July, 2012 against 185.6 mln. leis in June, 2012. In total, an amount of credits in MDL extended by banks to individuals grew up 8.9% 346.9 mln. leis in July, 2012.

An amount of credits in MDL extended to legal entities decreased 16.9% from 1 bln. 150.8 leis in June to 956.7 mln. leis in July. In total, within the month an amount of MDL credits to individuals and legal entities declined 11.3% from 1 bln. 469.4 mln. leis in June to 1 bln. 303.7 mln. leis in July.
